Inside the home

The brief
For this 4-room resale renovation at Lengkong Tiga, the homeowners wanted a home that felt warm and welcoming but still looked sharp and current. The kitchen had to become a place where the family could cook and gather, not just a corridor for chores, and every room needed generous storage without the heavy, boxed-in feel that too much carpentry can bring.
The design
The kitchen sets the tone. Glossy white cabinetry keeps the space bright and easy to clean, while a wood-topped counter wraps around into the dining zone as a breakfast bar with room for a built-in wine chiller below. A black-framed, backlit display cabinet gives the owners' collection pride of place, and a matching black-framed glass door closes off the service yard without blocking the light.
In the dining area, a mirrored feature wall trimmed with warm LED cove lighting visually doubles the space and bounces the glow of the sculptural pendant across the room. The living room stays calm and grounded with a light wood-panelled TV feature wall and floating console, dressed in soft neutrals and layered curtains. Bedrooms are kept serene with full-height, handle-less wardrobes in a muted taupe finish, and the bathrooms carry the palette through with large-format stone-look tiles, matte black fittings and a round black-framed mirror. Even the entrance got the full treatment, with a wood-grain main door, digital lock and laser-cut black gate.
