1. How do I start renovating my HDB/BTO/resale flat?
Before starting any renovation work, check if your project requires a renovation permit from HDB. You can refer to HDB’s official "Renovation Guide" or consult our team for guidance. If a permit is needed, you (or your appointed contractor) must submit an application to HDB. We will assist in preparing the necessary documents for approval.
Renovation timelines vary based on scope, but a standard HDB/BTO renovation takes 6–12 weeks. Minor works (e.g., painting, light carpentry) may take 2–4 weeks, while full overhauls (hacking, custom carpentry) can extend to 3 months. We will provide you a timeline after assessing your requirements.
We provide high-quality in-house hinges and drawer tracks, which come with a lifetime warranty for durability. However, if you prefer Blum or other brands, we are more than happy to accommodate (additional costs may apply).
Minor adjustments are possible, but major changes (e.g., layout modifications) may impact cost and project timeline. We will document all agreed-upon plans upfront to minimise disruptions.
